S635J Heavy-Duty Servo Automatic Edge Bander | PUR + EVA, Six-Channel Magazine

Overview

The S635J is the pressure-roller model of our EDGESHN S-series: servo feeding, PUR and EVA adhesive systems on one machine with a laser applicator optional, and a six-channel edge band magazine switched automatically by servo band feed. Panels pass in one go through release agent, pre-milling, flexible band cutting, five-roller pressing, servo horizontal end trimming, rough and finish trimming, the heavy-duty four-motor copying trace, scraping, glue thread removal, flat scraping, cleaning agent and four-motor dual polishing, at 18, 23 or 28 m/min.

How It Differs from the S635G

Both machines carry the same station package; they differ in clamping and in the smallest panel they can take. The S635J uses pressure-roller clamping, bands panels from 40 mm wide and 100 mm long, takes band heights of 12-65 mm, runs 18/23/28 m/min and weighs approx. 5000 kg. The S635G uses a steel tracked clamping system, runs 20/25/30 m/min, takes panels from 60 mm wide and 150 mm long with band heights of 11-65 mm, and weighs approx. 6000 kg. Choose the J for a high share of narrow parts, the G for pace and through-feed stability.

Line Integration

In a typical custom furniture line this class of bander sits after cutting and drilling. Combined with automatic loading and unloading it runs with minimal attendance and matches the takt of a six-side drill or nesting router. The six-channel magazine means multi-colour orders do not stop the machine for material changes.
