TD-290 CNC Panel Saw | 2900 mm Beam Saw

TD-290 CNC beam saw with a 2900 mm working length for precision breakdown of full sheets in panel furniture production. Servo-driven saw carriage and pusher beam, air-cushioned ball table, automatic clamping-beam and main-saw positioning, ±0.1 mm cutting accuracy, and an interface to order-splitting and nesting software.

Key Features

Servo-driven saw carriage with 0–120 m/min return speed: short non-cutting travel keeps cycle times down on high-mix cutting lists
Clamping beam and main saw raise and lower automatically with the cutting thickness, so switching board stock needs no manual re-setting
Manipulator feeding built on a high-precision reducer with ground rack and pinion, holding panel accuracy at ±0.1 mm
Flexible rubber-padded gripping structure clamps panels down to 34 × 45 mm, so small offcuts stay put instead of being rejected
Air-cushioned ball table lets large sheets slide with minimal effort and without scratching the surface
Tuodiao control software on an industrial PC with open data ports: imports cutting lists from order-splitting and nesting software, with optional Tuodiao optimisation software

Overview

The TD-290 is the compact model of the Tuodiao CNC beam saw range, sized for a 2900 mm cutting stroke. It breaks full engineered boards down to sized panels from an optimised nesting layout: the servo-driven saw carriage and pusher beam position and clamp automatically, and the machine cuts single sheets or stacks up to 100 mm high. It suits workshops cutting standard sheet formats where floor space or budget does not justify a longer beam.

Structure and Accuracy

The clamping beam and the main saw raise and lower automatically according to the cutting thickness, so an operator does not re-set the machine between different board stock. The carriage is servo-controlled and returns at up to 120 m/min, which keeps the non-cutting travel short between cuts. Feeding uses a manipulator built on a high-precision reducer with ground rack and pinion, holding panel accuracy at ±0.1 mm. The rubber-padded gripping structure can clamp panels as small as 34 × 45 mm, so small offcuts are still held along the cut line instead of lifting. An air-cushioned ball table reduces sliding friction on large sheets and protects the panel surface.

Software and Line Integration

The control system runs on an industrial PC with Tuodiao’s own cutting software and open data ports. It imports the cutting list of a cabinet order from a wide range of order-splitting and nesting programs, optimises board yield and records the result, which digitises the cutting stage; Tuodiao optimisation software can be added. The machine can also serve as the sawing station of a cutting line, linking with loading manipulators, a board store and the downstream edge banding and drilling workstations.
