468J Pre-milling High-Speed Automatic Edge Bander | 10-Station Machine

The 468J adds a pre-milling station to the proven 468 platform for a finer, far less visible glue line — ideal for veneer and solid wood edging. Ten stations in one pass at 15-24 m/min.

Key Features

Pre-mill cutters trim the panel edge before gluing, leaving a clean bonding surface
Clearly finer glue line — the difference shows on dark panels and veneer
All ten stations in one pass: pre-milling, gluing, six-roller pressing, end trimming, rough and finish trimming, copying trace, scraping, cleaning agent, polishing
Pneumatic six-roller pressing holds the band under even pressure along the whole edge
Cleaning agent is applied before polishing, so the edge leaves the machine residue-free
15-24 m/min feeding speed balances glue-line quality with output
Rigid steel frame stays stable at high through-feed speeds
Central control panel with clear fault indication

Overview

The TD-468J adds a pre-milling stage to the mature 468 platform. Before glue is applied, rotating cutters shave a thin layer off the panel edge, removing chipping and unevenness so the edge band bonds to a perfect cross-section — which is exactly why the glue line becomes finer and far harder to see.

Why Pre-milling Matters

A standard edge bander is usually enough for white melamine panels. But on dark panels, veneer or solid wood, the most common quality complaint is a visible glue line, and pre-milling removes the cause at source. That is why many factories specify the J version rather than the base model.
