T-E12DAC Multi-Functional Six-Sided Drill | Drilling, Profiling and Side Milling
The T-E12DAC multi-functional six-sided drill adds a side milling power head to its 6 kW auto tool-change spindle with six-tool magazine, so side profiling and pocketing join six-face boring and front/back grooving in a single clamping. One-piece welded steel frame, two upper drill packs plus one lower drill pack, 35 x 70 mm smallest part, QR code scanning and go.

Applications
Overview
The T-E12DAC multi-functional six-sided drill is built on a one-piece frame-style steel body. It drills all six faces and cuts the front and back grooves in a single clamping, and on top of that its upper spindle carries a side milling head beside the 6 kW auto tool change spindle, so side profiling and side pocketing are machined on the same machine in the same setup. It runs multiple shifts and is simple to learn; the smallest part it handles is 35 x 70 mm, so a complete order can be produced as one job. Air-bearing holes across the infeed and outfeed tables protect the panel face while it slides, the Y-axis uses extended rails for maximum throughput, and dual clamps with an automatic side clamping device hold the part steady in travel.
The Side Milling Head
The side milling head is fitted with the 6 kW auto tool change spindle on the upper spindle unit, and its tools come from the same six-tool magazine - there is no changeover to a bolted-on attachment. It covers the work done on the edges of the panel: side pocketing across 250-2750 mm long by 50-800 mm wide by 15-50 mm thick, and side profiling on three faces, the clamped edge excluded. Parts that need a pocket or a shaped edge no longer have to move to a second machine and be located again, and the relationship between the holes and the milled face is held by one machine.
Integrated Drill Packs
The bespoke integrated drill packs carry their own pressure rollers, which is how the machine reaches 90% drill-pack utilisation and a 30-45% gain in output. Minimum vertical hole distance is 60 mm, minimum horizontal hole distance is 128 mm in the vertical direction and 210 mm across the horizontal direction. Hinge boring sits inside the upper drill pack, so no separate hinge borer is needed.
Three-Position Grippers
The patented grippers change height with the task: below the table surface when loading, so panels sit on easily; above it when travelling idle, so they cannot scratch the face; level with it during machining, which holds horizontal-hole accuracy on small parts. The grippers also extract dust, and an adaptive gripper-change function reduces how often they have to be swapped.
Frame and Accuracy
The high-strength steel frame is welded as one piece rather than assembled from sections as on other brands. The welded frame then goes onto an imported gantry milling machine, which is what protects structural stability and accuracy, and it is stress relieved so the geometry holds over years of service.
Dynamic Acceleration Algorithms
The proprietary dynamic acceleration package covers adaptive speed for grooving, dynamic positioning for shaped parts, and a shortest tool-lift-path routine. Individual tool positions can be offset independently.
Software Interface
The open interface reads MPR, XML, DXF and BAN and connects directly to design and nesting software. There is no programming step on the shop floor: scan the QR code and the machine runs.
How It Differs from the T-E12DA
The T-E12DA six-sided drill shares this machine’s panel range, drill packs, lower spindle, axis speeds and overall size. The difference sits in the upper spindle: the T-E12DAC adds a side milling head, which is what makes side profiling and pocketing possible, and total installed power rises from about 23 kW to about 26 kW. Choose this model when the parts include side pockets or shaped edges; for standard six-face drilling and front/back grooving, the T-E12DA or the twin-lower-spindle T-E12DA2 is the better fit.
