T-E12D Six-Sided Drill | 2 Upper + 1 Lower Drill Packs, Dual Spindles
The Tuodiao T-E12D six-sided drill runs two upper drill packs plus one lower drill pack with a 3.5 kW spindle above and below, on a one-piece welded steel frame. Six-face boring and front/back grooving finish in a single clamping at 1.8-2.2 panels per minute; the smallest part is 35 x 70 mm, so a whole order runs in one sequence — scan the barcode and go.

Applications
Overview
The Tuodiao T-E12D is a three-drill-pack CNC six-sided drill: two upper packs and one lower pack, with a 3.5 kW spindle above and another below, so all six faces are drilled and the front and back grooves are cut in a single clamping. The one-piece frame-style steel body runs multiple shifts and is simple to learn; the smallest part it handles is 35 x 70 mm, so a complete order can be produced as one job rather than split by panel size. Air-bearing holes across the infeed and outfeed tables protect the panel face while it slides, the Y-axis uses extended rails for maximum throughput, and dual clamps with an automatic side clamping device hold the part steady in travel.
Three Drill Packs, Two Spindles
The upper left and upper right packs each carry 12 vertical drills, 6 horizontal drills and 12 assist cylinders; the lower pack carries 8 vertical drills and 2 assist cylinders. Together the three packs cover the faces and edges that make up a standard cabinet part, while the upper and lower 3.5 kW spindles take the slots and milled holes. Hinge boring sits inside the upper drill pack, so no separate hinge borer is needed, and shaped parts can be machined as well.
Integrated Drill Packs
The bespoke integrated drill packs carry their own pressure rollers - 12 built into the pack body - which is how the machine reaches 90% drill-pack utilisation and a 30-45% gain in output. Minimum vertical hole distance is 60 mm, minimum horizontal hole distance is 128 mm in the vertical direction and 210 mm across the horizontal direction.
Three-Position Grippers
The patented grippers change height with the task: below the table surface when loading, so panels sit on easily; above it when travelling idle, so they cannot scratch the face; level with it during machining, which holds horizontal-hole accuracy on small parts. The grippers also extract dust, and an adaptive gripper-change function reduces how often they have to be swapped.
Frame and Accuracy
The high-strength steel frame is welded as one piece rather than assembled from sections as on other brands. The welded frame then goes onto an imported gantry milling machine, which is what protects structural stability and accuracy, and it is stress relieved so the geometry holds over years of service.
Dynamic Acceleration Algorithms
The machine runs the customised 3VJIA design system, and its proprietary dynamic acceleration package covers adaptive speed for grooving, dynamic positioning for shaped parts, and a shortest tool-lift-path routine. Individual tool positions can be offset independently.
Software Interface
The open interface reads MPR, XML, DXF and BAN and connects directly to design and nesting software. There is no programming step on the shop floor: scan the QR code and the machine runs.
How It Differs from the Multi-Functional Models
The T-E12D shares its drill-pack layout (two upper, one lower) and panel range with the T-E12DA multi-functional six-sided drill. The difference is the upper spindle: on the T-E12D it is a plain 3.5 kW spindle, and the specification lists no automatic tool change or magazine, whereas the T-E12DA runs a 6 kW auto tool change spindle with a six-tool magazine and can therefore change tools mid-cycle for a wider range of grooves. Where side grooving and automatic tool change are needed, choose the T-E12DA or the side-milling T-E12DAC; for six-face drilling and front/back grooving, this machine is the direct fit.
